Hi, I'm Jee Won Lee
You can also call me Ashley!

I'm a New York-based UX designer passionate about empathetic problem-solving.

I consider myself an evolving perfectionist. Naturally, I like to define everything logically, adhere to plans, and achieve effective outcomes. However, interacting with students from diverse backgrounds in university and graduate school taught me that not every problem has one exact answer. As a designer, I've realized that solutions can vary based on perspectives and user needs. By learning different perspectives and empathizing, I've become an open creative thinker. I strive to be intentional, purposeful, strategic, and logical while also being flexible and valuing constant growth. My expertise lies in ideation, user research, storytelling, and visual design, fueled by a fascination with all aspects of UX design. Ultimately, I find immense satisfaction in addressing everyday user needs through creative solutions.

I earned a BFA Communication Design from Washington University in St. Louis in December 2021 and am currently pursuing a MFA Design and Technology at The New School-Parsons School of Design, with an expected graduation date of May 2025.
