I wanted to create an environment that evokes an eerie, hollow atmosphere, something that feels unsettling and off. To achieve this, I designed an abandoned graveyard where players navigate a tense and foreboding setting. Carefully placed obstacles guide them along few specific paths. The environment encourages exploration, prompting players to walk through and take in the surroundings, deepening their immersion and heightening the sense of fear.

I set out to create a dark-themed environment reminiscent of an abandoned graveyard, aiming to evoke a tense, lonesome, and hollow atmosphere. To establish the desired mood, I first gathered a collection of images that captured the aesthetic I envisioned. The black circle fadeout appears when the user navigates the environment using the remote controls. If the user moves through the space by walking, there would be no fadeout.

After building the environment, I play tested the experience on the Meta Quest 3.
